When Twin Cities Realtor Chris Hansen entered into the real estate business, he knew he’d be helping people make transitions in their lives. What he didn’t know was that he’d be helping his clients’ dogs transition from one living situation to the next as well.
Chris Hansen runs the Lacina Team, a RE/MAX realty group that specializes in “short sales“—situations where homeowners need to sell, but owe more on their homes than they’re worth and through this process Chris works with a lot of people who are between a rock and a hard place, and may not be able to take their dogs with them when they move.
So, together with former NFL player Corbin Lacina they started a foster program to find good homes for dogs that need to part with their families. You can read more about Chris Hansen and his mission at Sidewalk Dog. Sidewalk Dog is a great site to read about all things dog-related in the Twin Cities. Here you will find links and stories related to pet-centric businesses, dog-friendly shops and restaurants, local animal rescues and nonprofits or anything else that’s interesting in the local pet scene.
Chris will also have a new site up and running in the near future dedicated to his mission at Foreclosurefosters.com. Bookmark this link and keep checking back.
